Extended Phase One Habitat Survey

Client: Carillion Rail
Project Name: Manchester Metrolink
Area: Greater Manchester
Description: Extended phase one habitat survey of 25 kilometres of the Manchester tram route.
Role: Ecological consultant cworking directly for Carillion rail undertaking full extended phase one habitat surveys of the route and producing a detailed phase one report with recommendations for further survey and mitigation.


Great Crested Newt Surveys and Mitigation

Client: United Utilities
Project Name: Cotebrook WTW
Area: Cotebrook, Cheshire
Description: Great crested newt license application and mitigation scheme for a new water treatment works site.
Role: Ecological consultant working directly for United Utilities producing a license application and implementing a great crested newt trapping and translocation scheme for the site of a new Water Treatment Works.

Client: Waterman CPM
Project Name: Widnes Golf Course
Area: Widnes, Merseyside
Description: Amphibian surveys of 18 ponds on the site of a proposed golf course


Bat Surveys and Mitigation

Client: Chester and District Housing Trust
Project Name: Treborth Road, Blacon
Area: Blacon, Chester
Description: Bat survey of 20 former housing association buildings proposed for demolition.
Role: Undertaking dusk and dawn activity surveys and managing a sub-contracted licensed bat specialist undertaking internal inspections of all buildings. A license application has now been submitted for the demolition of two buildings found to contain bat roosts.


Water Vole Surveys

Client: Hackwood Ltd.
Project Name: Goscote Lane
Area: Walsall
Description: Water vole survey of approximately 1 kilometre of the Wyrley and Essington Canal.
